Embark on a mystical journey into the depths of the Kitzsteinhorn

At the panorama platform TOP OF SALZBURG, you will meet your guide – a real ranger from the Hohe Tauern National Park. Together, you will make your way into the mountain. With each step through the mystical, 360-meter-long National Park Gallery Info Tunnel, you can feel the heartbeat of the glacier. At six stations, the ranger provides exciting insights into the history, technology, natural treasures, flora, and fauna at the Kitzsteinhorn and in the Hohe Tauern National Park. At the end of the Gallery, a breathtaking highlight awaits you: The National Park Gallery panorama platform offers a spectacular view of the untouched mountain world of the national park. In the south, you can even see the Grossglockner – Austria's highest mountain.

Top Tip: Prepare for the tour and visit Austria's highest cinema, Cinema 3000, in advance: The film "Kitzsteinhorn – THE NATURE" showcases the unique experience, plant, and animal world at the Kitzsteinhorn with impressive footage. The cinema is located on the ground floor of the summit station, and the film runs all day.
